Hello and thank you for visiting.
I’m Jocelyn Corbin, an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. I’ve spent many years supporting people through life’s most complex and personal challenges, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can happen.
My path into psychotherapy has been shaped by a rich background in health and social care, end-of-life support, and even my time as a fitness instructor. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection, and I often bring insights around nutrition, movement, and overall wellbeing into my work—when it’s helpful to the client.
Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, addiction, grief, and neurodiversity, among many other areas. I believe that no two people are the same, and I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are.
A personalised approach to therapy that adapts to you.
What is Integrative Psychotherapy?
Integrative psychotherapy combines a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, integrative therapy allows us to draw on different techniques and schools of thought — adapting our work together as your needs evolve.
This flexibility means therapy can be tailored specifically to you: your personality, your goals, your challenges, and the pace you’re most comfortable with.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work to high standards of professional and ethical practice.
Being a BACP member means I follow their Ethical Framework, attend regular supervision, and commit to ongoing training and development. It also gives you reassurance that I’m fully qualified, insured, and accountable to a professional body.
You can find out more about the BACP at www.bacp.co.uk.
